Recital Schedules

DETAILS FOR MINI SHOWS | SATURDAY, JUNE 15TH

3-5 Years

1) Parents park in the main parking lot at Calvin Christian School
2) Check in your dancer 45min before their show with our awesome volunteers, signs will point you where to check in

3) Change your dancer into their shoes for recital in the backstage designated area
4) You will leave your dancer backstage while you go get your seats! Please take all your dancer's belongings with you
*If you have a dancer in more than 1 dance in the same show please leave 2nd costume with teacher and they will help them change

5) Your dancer's teacher will be with them, will warm them up, practice their dance and pray with them
6) Doors will open 20-30min before we start
7)  All classes will participate in the finale number
8) Once Miss Cassie thanks everyone from coming she will direct you on how to check out your dancer
*Teachers will space out on stage. Come check out with your child's teacher from the stage
9) You are invited to take photos with your family in lobby before leaving

DETAILS FOR FULL LENGTH SHOWS | 6/13-6/15

6 Years +

1) Parents park in the main parking lot at Calvin Christian School
2) Check in your dancer with our awesome volunteers, signs will point you where to check in (See "Recital Week Schedule" below for check in time associated with your dancer's class)

3) Help  your dancer get situated backstage, get on shoes, etc… Dancer's keep their belongings with them. Please have your dancer bring a water bottle and dry non messy snacks.

4) You will leave your dancer backstage while you go get your seats! 
5) Your dancer's teacher will be with them, will warm them up, practice their dance and pray with them

6) Doors will open 20min before we start
7) All classes will participate in the finale number
8) Once Miss Cassie thanks everyone teachers will escort dancers backstage and parents can check out their child where they checked them in
9) You are invited to take photos with your family in lobby before leaving.

On-Stage Dress Rehearsals

Check in your dancer using the map and drop off with us. CLICK HERE for map.

• Dancers arrive in costume with hair and makeup ready.
• Dancers warm up/practice backstage and get escorted to the stage by teacher.
• Parents can sit and watch in theater (Quiet voices only please).

Each class will practice on stage 1-2 times.

• Parents can take as many videos/photos as they want as they get a close up experience.
• If you notice that more practice is a good idea, you have access to practice videos 🙂.

After class is done practicing on stage, check out your dancer with teacher at the front of stage.

Parent Viewing Week

Tues, May 28th - Mon, June 3rd

Each class will have 15-30min of time set aside to showcase their recital dance and what they have been working on this semester. During this time we will be inviting parents into class! We will also hand out Spring completion certificates, a BFS Spring 2024 pin, and a BFS bag to every student.

• We stagger the designated time slots with some classes to ensure parents with multiple children dancing at the same time can watch all their kiddos for the highlighted portion.
• Dancers come to class on their normal day/time AND classes are NOT shortened.
• You can watch via Watch Me Grow in the lobby and teachers will invite you into their studio space at the designated times below.
• Recital Students: Parents will sign out their child’s costume in the lobby. Parents can speak with Miss Cassie about the recital and ask any questions!
• Non Recital Students: This will be the last class for students not participating in the recital. They get to end their semester by showcasing their dance they have learned and receive recognition for completing the semester. If your student is in more than 1 class and participates in 1 class in recital and not the other, "Parent Viewing Week" would be your child's last week in the class that they are not participating in the recital in.
